Compared to the STM4 with a pole changing motor the STM5 has a powerful motor unit with frequency inverter for variable speed control and for high-precision work processes. Both basic machines are already equipped with twisting tools for metal rods. With the appropriate attachments they are also suitable for basket production, scroll bending, handrail embossing and end forging.
